16 million dollars. That's how much new business the state of Nebraska is doing with Cuba.

Cuban officials signed the contracts Tuesday night to buy wheat and pork from Nebraska producers.

That outs the total amount of state exports to Cuba up to more than 56 million dollars.

Governor Dave Heineman says he's happy with the relationship Nebraska has built with the island nation.

This is the 5th Nebraska trade mission to Cuba in the last two years.
