While presidential candidates vie for a nomination, it's becoming more certain who will be the players in the race for Senate back in Nebraska.
Republicans Mike Johanns and Pat Flynn have thrown their hats in the ring.
Democrats Larry Marvin of Fremont and Tony Raimondo are in the race.
Steve Larrick of Lincoln will run for the Green Party.
But what about popular Democrat Scott Kleeb? Is he in or is he out?
"We're talking a very short time frame before I'll make a decision," said Scott Kleeb, Hastings.
If he decides to run, he's not ruling out Congress or more local government.
"You got to ask yourself ultimately why should you run and why should people vote for you and if you think you have something to contribute, where's the best place for you to contribute?" he said.
Kleeb is encouraged as more Democrats join the Senate race, but disappointed in the Republican party.
"You had a clearing of the field basically just saying, 'Let's not have an election. Let's just give it to somebody.' I think that's essentially what happened and I think the Republican party here in Nebraska suffered," Kleeb said.
When asked if he thinks he can take on Republican heavy-weight Mike Johanns, he refers to the support he got during a run for Congress.
"Can we do that again state wide? Absolutely," Kleeb said.
If he decides to make a run for it.
Kleeb said he's waiting for the caucus to be over to make a decision, but he'll announce whether he's running or not within the next two weeks.
