On Saturday night, we'll set our clocks back as we say goodbye to daylight saving time for another year.
There are pros and cons to the time change this weekend. We get to sleep an extra hour on Saturday night, but we'll have to spend some time on Sunday getting all of our clocks and watches reset.
If you're dreading that biannual process, just think, at least you don't have to reset 240 clocks.
In just six years, Burt Cooley of Franklin, Neb. has compiled a pretty impressive clock collection.
"I just like clocks I have to know what time it is and I have certain clocks I look at that I know what time it is," said Burt Cooley, Franklin.
It all started back in 2001 with this nursery rhyme clock.
"It was supposed to be just this wall and then it just kind of I got another one and I had to have it so it just kind of all over," she said.
She has clocks in the front room, the dining room, the back room and just about everywhere in between.
"Yes it's officially out of hand," Cooley said.
For Cooley, springing forward and falling back can be a pretty lengthy process.
"It takes several days and I have to have help 'cause I can't get up and down it takes too long to get down, put the batteries in it and put it back up. So I have to wait 'til somebody's here to help me and I just changed 210 batteries and that's not all of them yet. I buy batteries every time they're on sale."
This has to be one of the noisier houses in the state of Nebraska, but Cooley doesn't seem to mind.
"I don't hear the noise I sometimes wonder if they're working and have to ask somebody else if they're working cause I'm so used to them that I don't hear 'em," she said.
"I like the clocks and if I see one that's different or if I just like it I'll get it. I wasn't going to get anymore this year, but I just got one last week so I just keep gettin' 'em I just can't pass 'em up if I see 'em every store I go in," Cooley said
How many clocks will be enough? There's no way to know for sure. All we're really certain of is Cooley's sure to have time on her side.
