A Pawnee City man has been sentenced to five to ten years in prison for causing his friend's death in a drunken driving accident.

The sentence announced by the Nebraska attorney general's office comes more that a year after the original crash that killed 26-year-old Aaron Rabstejnek of Table Rock.

The 27-year-old Joshua Westover pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the case in September.

Authorities say Westover's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when his car collided with another vehicle, ejecting both men from the car and injuring the driver of the other vehicle.

This is outrageous! They needed to know all the incidences of this accident.Josh was driving but, there were alot of reasons why. The sentence was injust. Josh will have to live with this for his whole life. The knowledge of your best friend dying is punishment enough.
