The Lancaster County Sheriff's department is looking into a copper theft.

LSO said it happened between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

The burglars drove into a field and to take 885 feet of wire worth $2,000.

After their car got stuck in the field, they left it behind but took the copper.

No suspects in the case so far.
