Police say a major drug trafficking organization was shut down.
Wednesday, several law enforcement members including Lincoln police, raided four Lincoln residences and made seven arrests.
During the raid, authorities seized five vehicles with more than $80,000 in cash, around one pound of meth and close to a pound of cocaine.
The group is believed to be responsible for distributing hundreds of pounds of meth in Lincoln and other Nebraska communities.
The investigation, which began in August 2007, identified multiple suspects through the use of confidential informants, offender interviews, undercover buys and other investigative techniques.
This local group is believed to have distribution ties with a significant portion of eastern Nebraska.
Lincoln Police Chief Tom Casady said he's happy to see these men off the streets.
