A 49-year-old woman accused of stealing money from five different Hemingford Public School funds has pleaded guilty to one count of theft.

Jane Kuhn of Hemingford entered the plea Wednesday in Box Butte County District Court as part of deal with prosecutors. In exchange for her plea, four other theft charges were dropped.

Authorities say Kuhn stole more than $7,000 from the funds between November 2007 and this month while serving as the high school and middle school secretary.

Officials say the money was taken from the school's FFA account, high school track fund, drama club, senior class graduation fund and the senior class cap and gown fund.

Kuhn made full restitution this morning, presenting a cashier's check to the court for $7,143.63.

She is set to be sentenced June 25.
