Three University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduates are being honored for their accomplishments.
The recipients of the Alumni Achievement Awards from the Nebraska Alumni Association are Robert Orlando Epp, Robert Farran and Diane Miller Frost.
Epp of Henderson graduated in 1950 and has volunteered helping disadvantaged and oppressed people in Central and South America and the Caribbean since his retirement from farming in 1981.
Farran graduated in 1973 and is director of the Los Angeles County Southwest Special Education Local Plan Area.
Frost was in the class of 1977 and 1982, and is superintendent of schools for Asheboro, North Carolina, serving more than 4,500 students. She was the first female drum major for the UNL marching band.
The three will be honored Friday at the Nebraska Champions Club.
