A Lincoln man is in jail after police say he had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy.

Joel Batten, 23, was arrested Thursday for 1st degree sexual assault on a child.

Police say he had sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy sometime between August and October of 2007.

The teenager told his school counselor about the relationship, according to police.
