Lincoln police captured two men suspected of tire slashing early Saturday morning.

Capt. Dennis Duckworth said officers were called to 42nd and High Streets at 5:23 a.m. on a report of people slashing tires.

When officers arrived, they set up a perimeter and captured Bradley Allen and a 16-year-old male as they were trying to leave the area.

The incident is still under investigation, but so far police had taken reports of 24 cases of tire slashings or paint being scraped on cars.

They also report four incidents of larceny from a motor vehicle.
