With the election only a two days away, Nebraska candidates are finding new ways to reach young voters

Social networking sites like Facebook are becoming an increasingly popular way for candidates to get their messages out.

Not only can candidates buy political ads, but they can have their own page with information about their campaign, pictures, and personal messages to voters.

All four senate candidates can be found somewhere on Facebook, and young voters are not only noticing, but getting involved.

they should put videos -- especially short statements on single topics -- on youtube too. that seems more comfortable for older folks using a computer -- especially people finding their way around for the first time, or not confident of their abilities to find things. there should also be a big effort to teach everyone to use a computer, for the basic things, and to use good judgment about what to believe and what to take with "a grain of salt". it is wonderful to be able to hear candidates speak without having to travel long distances or at inconvenient times to hear them in person.
