Monday is the Fourth Anniversary of Alexa Check Day.

Nebraska State Senators, Tony Fulton and DiAnna Schimek proclaimed, May 19th, as Alexa Check Day honoring Alexa Christine Foster, who died May 19, 2004, in Crete, Nebraska.

Alexa lost her life when a concrete block wall collapsed on her in the restroom of a city park in Crete, Nebraska, on May 19, 2004.

The mission of the Alexa Check is to create awareness of unsafe conditions in public places.
