William Kelley was arrested last night on a single felony count of possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies of the Gage County Sheriff's Department served the warrant for Kelley's arrest at his rural residence near Filley, Nebraska around 7pm yesterday evening.

The Gage County Attorney is reviewing the matter to determine if additional charges are warranted.

The arrest is the result of a Sheriff's Department investigation that began at the time of the disappearance of Kelley's wife, Ann Marie Kelley, on April 15, 2008.
