Authorities have evacuated some homes along the North Platte River in eastern Nebraska because of flooding concerns.

The Beacon View neighborhood and Linoma Beach campground near where U.S. Highway 6 crosses the Platte were evacuated.

Most of the flooding the National Weather Service reported Saturday morning along the Platte and Elkhorn rivers was minor.

Flood warnings remain in effect at least through Saturday night for the Missouri, Platte and Elkhorn rivers.

The National Weather Service said the Platte River is likely to keep rising through the afternoon because the Elkhorn River has not shown signs of receding.

And the Missouri River remained full Saturday, making it difficult for the Platte and Elkhorn Rivers to drain.
