A 25-year-old Lincoln man faces assault charges, accused of hitting his 42-year-old roommate in the head with a frying pan.
Police say the man and his roommate got into an argument that turned physical about 12:50 a.m. Friday.
The 42-year-old told police that the younger man hit him in the head eight times with a frying pan. An officer could see a palm-size bruise and several other bruises on the victim's head.
Police took the pan as evidence and arrested the younger man on suspicion of second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
