A Tecumseh inmate will be sentenced next month for killing another inmate in a prison fight.

Michael Sullivan has pleaded no contest to manslaughter in the September death of 38-year-old Reko Mitchell.

Authorities say Sullivan fought with Mitchell in the gym bathroom on Sept. 17. Mitchell was found on the floor, with two broken bones in his neck. He died more than two weeks later at a Lincoln hospital.

Sullivan faces one to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced on Aug. 25 in Johnson County District Court.

Sullivan is already serving a six- to 12-year sentence for robbery, a weapons violation and drug possession.
