A Wolbach man facing a federal charge for storing grenades, fuses and a gunpowder substitute in his storm shelter has pleaded not guilty.

Allison "Al" Klanecky was arraigned Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Omaha.

After a divorce hearing in May, Klanecky's wife's attorney showed authorities photos of the storm shelter and its contents.

Klanecky was arrested July 8 in Kansas while federal agents searched his farm near Wolbach, which is in central Nebraska, 30-plus miles north of Grand Island.

His trial is set for September. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
