An Omaha man shot last month while his home was being robbed has died.
Omaha police say 28-year-old Random Goynes died Friday at Creighton University Medical Center. He had been in intensive care since the July 25 robbery and shooting.
Police say Goynes returned from the store on the night of the shooting and found three armed men ransacking his house in northeast Omaha. A woman and three children were home at the time.
At one point, Goynes tried to run from the house, and he was shot in the back and leg. Police found Goynes lying outside the home when they responded to the shooting.
Police said no arrests had been made in the case as of Saturday morning.
