Community treatment has been approved for 23-year-old man who was found insane when he stabbed an acquaintance last year.

Dondray Wilkinson is leaving the state psychiatric hospital in Lincoln.

But District Judge Steven Burns said Wilkinson is still a danger to himself or others, so Wilkinson has to maintain treatment and look for work.

Police say Wilkinson stabbed a 24-year-old friend on a front porch in west-central Lincoln.
