Former Nebraska cornerback Andre Jones is jailed in Lincoln, accused of stealing a big-screen television in June.

Jones, who played for the Cornhuskers in 2006 and '07, was arrested Monday and is being held on a $3,000 percentage bond. Lincoln police allege that in Jones stole a 50-inch Pioneer Plasma TV worth about $2,800 from the basement of a home where he'd been staying.

The owner of the home is Marcus Young II, whose son, Dreu Young, is a sophomore tight end for the Huskers.

Police tracked down the TV at a pawn shop.

Jones appeared in 11 games last season. He was a starter in 2006 and was among the team's top tacklers.
