An October hearing is scheduled for two men convicted in the rape and killing of a Beatrice woman more than 20 years ago.
Joseph White and Thomas Winslow were charged in the 1985 death of 68-year-old Helen Wilson. White was convicted of first-degree murder. Winslow pleaded no contest to aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
Their attorneys say DNA tests have cleared them of the rape.
Another co-defendant in the case, JoAnn Taylor, who implicated the men, recently said she lied in her testimony.
An evidentiary hearing for White and Winslow will be held Oct. 15. A judge could decide whether to throw out their convictions.
