Lincoln police arrest two men accused of soliciting sex based on Craigslist ads -- one targeted a 15-year-old girl.
Police say the first man was arrested Tuesday around 11 a.m. They say 37-year-old Steve Dubas of Stromsburg had contacted an undercover officer on Craigslist, a classified advertisement Web site.
Officials say they struck a deal to meet in the 100 block of South 27th Street. When they both arrived, police say the man gave the undercover officer money and was arrested for soliciting sex.
Then, police say at 3 p.m., a similar scenario happened.
At 3:00 Tuesday afternoon a similar scenario happened after an undercover officer made a deal with 26-year-old Jeffrey Babl to meet at his home in Lincoln. Babl had responded to a Craigslist ad for a mother-daughter experience.
Police say the officer told Babl she would bring her 15-year-old daughter with her.
When she arrived, police say the man paid her money to have sex.
He was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree sexual assault.
