A northeast Nebraska couple are mourning the death of their 1-month-old daughter who was run over in their driveway.

Deputy Pierce County Attorney Amy Wiebelhaus said the girl's death appears accidental, but the sheriff's department and Nebraska State Patrol are still investigating.

The parents, Corey and Julie Raatz of rural Tilden, say daughter Jaycee was killed Monday morning while Corey changed a flat truck tire.

While Corey Raatz worked, his wife placed their daughter on the ground near the truck.

At one point, Corey Raatz moved the truck and ran over his daughter.

Corey Raatz said he and his wife are praying for guidance, but they're confident God had a hand in the accident and that Jaycee is in a good place.
