On Aug. 29 around 4:54 p.m., Saline County Sheriff's Office responded to fatality accident one west and one mile north of Dorchester on County Road 1300 and County Road C.

Both Dorchester and Friend Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene.

A 1989 Chevrolet K-1500 pickup truck driven by Richland Walker of Milford, Neb. was traveling north on County Road 1300. A 2002 Dodge 1500 pickup truck driven by Robert Haufle of Crete, Neb. was traveling west on C. Both vehicles collided in the intersection.

Both Walker and Haufle were life flight Bryan LGH West for treatment. Haufle's wife was also transported to Bryan LGH West by ambulance for treatment. Two of the Haufle's children were transported to the Friend Hospital where family members met them and were released without treatment.

Zach Blowers of Milford, Neb. was a passenger in the 1989 Chevrolet K-1500 pickup. Blowers died at the scene of the crash.

The crash was investigated by the Saline County Sheriff's Office.

Troopers from the Nebraska State Patrol and Officers from the Friend Police department assisted with the investigation.

this a tragedy i dont even know him and its really sad to hear wat happend because i know one of his friends
