How much corn could a Cornhusker shuck if a Cornhusker could shuck corn? Well, they can and a bunch of them did at the Nebraska State Fair.

But the corn dogs, cotton candy and basically anything on a stick all ended Monday. That is, if you want to get it from the state fair.
A big crowd came out today for the 11th and final day of the fair. And while many fair-goers may be sad to see it end, many of the people who make it all happen say it's also hard to say goodbye.
"It's both a relief and a lot of sadness because this is what we call home for two weeks and we're in here 18 hours a day. It's a good feeling to know you're going home, but we want to stay too," said Carman Pickering, Carman's Cozy Corndogs.
"We had a very good fair. We can thank the weather for that, we can thank our staff and our crew. Everything was pretty well organized and things ran very smoothly," said Doug Brand, Nebraska State Fair Board director.
This was the second to last year the fair will be in Lincoln. It will move to Grand Island by 2010.
