Police Say Kentucky Woman Kills Self, Daughters

Police in Louisville, KY say a woman and her two young daughters were found dead in her home in an apparent murder-suicide.

Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley says investigators believe the woman killed her daughters then shot herself.

It hasn't been determined how the girls died. They are believed to be between 7 and 10 years old.

A family member who lives elsewhere called police shortly before 7:30 p.m. EDT Monday after discovering the deaths.

No identities have been released, while police continue to investigate.
