It's a journey not many people would even dream of taking on. Daniel Seddiqui of Las Altos, California wants to experience 50 jobs in 50 states in 50 weeks.
It's quite obvious that Daniel Seddiqui is not your average 26 year old. Three years ago he graduated from the University of Southern California. He came up empty on his first 40 job interviews and now he's dead set on charting his own path. Now in his 7th week on the road, Seddiqui is stepping up in the world, he's a corn farmer for a week. Seddiqui says, "Basically, all the failures I've had in life have led me up to this project to work 50 jobs in 50 states in 50 weeks."
Daniel left his home in the bay area, ready to see the world, "August 30th, I left my driveway from home and it was kind of a wierd feeling knowing because i would probably come back a diffferent person and so far i feel like I've experienced 7 different lives."
Daniel's goal is to eventually write a book about different careers and different cultures around the United States, "Because it's intrigued me throughout my travels after i graduated and there's a lot of people that are interested in what's out there. What kind of opportunities, especially graduates from college or even high school, just kind of curious to what kind of careers are out there."
Daniel is off to Devils Tower in Wyoming on Saturday where he will be a Park Ranger for a week. If you would like to check out Daniel's daily journal go to www.livingthemap.com
