The Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will reopen Tuesday, January 6. The museum was closed over the weekend after vandals smashed windows in the building.

Museum officials said no artwork was damaged.

The broken windows have not been repaired yet. Visitors are asked to enter through the west doors. A portion of the Great Hall will be cordoned off due to the damage.

In addition to works from the Museum's permanent collection, three special exhibitions are currently on view: "TRANSactions: Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art," "Portraits and Personalities: Prints from the F.M. Hall Collection" and "New Acquisitions: African-American Masters Collection."
