Saturday night, fans will be filling Memorial Stadium, but thousands are already gearing up.
It's been the talk of the town for months. Saturday the Huskers and USC will finally take the field to begin the battle.
They're crowding into the capital city, proudly and loudly making themselves known. USC fans were out in full force in downtown Lincoln getting together to show their support for their Trojans.
"It's fun to come here and watch so many people come in here and have a good time away from Southern California," said Garry Paskwietz, Orange County, Calif.
And some have their predictions set for Saturday's game.
"41-14 is my prediction. 'USC?' of course, of course," said Mike Stone, Lake Arrowhead, Calif.
But Nebraska fans are confident their Huskers will come out on top.
"I'm guessing Nebraska wins, 27-24," said Troy Swanda, Washington, D.C.
Troy Swanda is a big Husker fan, who came all the way from Washington D.C. To cheer them on. But downstairs from him his wife Gina, a USC alum, is rooting for the rival.
"He actually is a Husker. I didn't hold it against him, mostly cause his first name is Troy, so I knew he was a Trojan at heart," said Gina Swanda, Washington, D.C.
"That's why she married me I think, because of my name," he said.
While they're both excited to be at this game, they say it's going to be a brutal battle back and forth in the stands.
"He tries to talk a little trash," she said.
There were still people out trying to buy and sell tickets on the streets Friday. There are still some available on the Web site Stub-Hub.
