KOLN/KGIN TV’s coverage of the High School State Basketball Tournaments has always been about more than just the games. We focus on the importance of the student athlete, and the spirit and good sportsmanship of high school athletics. This includes our coverage of the Sportsmanship Award, recognition of the NSAA Believers and Achievers, our 10/11 Scholar Athlete salutes and the 10/11 Coaches All State Teams.
High School Basketball coaches from across the state are sent ballots to select the 5 student athletes they believe are the best from their class. Votes are tabulated for each class, regardless of position. At halftime of each Championship game, the 10/11 Coaches All State Team is presented for that class.
Beginning each Championship Saturday, you will be able to click the video icons to see the honorees for each class.
