A Lincoln baby is in an Omaha hospital, after the child's father allegedly shook her.

Lincoln Police spokesperson Katherine Finnell says 22-year old Adam Morris and the child's mother took the 12-week old to a Lincoln hospital on October 19th.

Finnell says the baby was transported to Children's Hospital in Omaha where she is suffering from multiple injuries including skull fractures, bleeding on the brain, broken ribs and detached retinas.

According to Finnell, the doctor at the hospital said the injuries are consistent with shaken baby syndrome.

Finnell says Morris was arrested and charged with felony child abuse.

He next appears in court on November 5th.
