Lincoln Police say a man is in custody for allegedly hitting a police officer in the jaw early Friday morning.

Lincoln Police Captain Dennis Duckworth says officers were called to a disturbance at The Keg near 20th and O streets around 1:10am

According to Duckworth, an officer trying to break up the disturbance was punched in the jaw.

The officer was not injured.

31-year old Demond Wilkinson Junior of Lincoln was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and failure to comply with an officer.

Two other people were also arrested in connection with the incident.

49-year old Daphne McWilliams of Lincoln and 32-year old Fontano Guy of Lincoln are accused of resisting arrest and failure to comply with an officer.
