A man is behind bars after police say he allegedly stole a bike from Cycle Works.

Police say they were called to Cycle Works as Robert Aguirre was riding a bike out of the store. Police say they caught him a few blocks away near 29th and Holdrege.

Police then took him back to the store and a witness said that he was the same man who stole another bike on April 24. They searched his home and found another bike.

When they returned the bike to Cycle Works they discovered that it was not the bike they thought had been stolen but actually a different bike stolen at a different time.

Police are still looking for the bike witnesses say Aguirre stole.

So far he faces shoplifting charges for two of the bikes.
