According to the Saunders County Sheriff's Office, Lawrence J. Bouc, 71, was operating a forklift around 4:20 p.m. on County Road C when he lost control and entered a ditch. The sheriff's office said he was ejected from the forklift and then run over as the forklift rolled over.

Bouc was pronounced dead at the scene.
