Lincoln police investigated two car-residence crashes Sunday morning.

According to police, the accidents happened four minutes apart in northeast Lincoln.

Police said the first happened at 46th and Madison Avenue at 1:15 a.m. Capt. James Davidsaver said two cars collided in the unmarked intersection when one of the cars continued on into an apartment building garage. Davidsaver said both cars were totaled.

Davidsaver said the second accident happened near 68th and N. Cotner. He said in that accident, the driver was northbound on Cotner when she lost control of the vehicle and struck the home's garage.
