Lincoln police are searching for the suspect who robbed a Kwik Shop employee at gunpoint.

Police say the incident happened at 10 Wednesday night. According to officials, the suspect was armed with a dark handgun, he confronted the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say they are looking for a black male in his mid 20s, about 6' tall, wearing a blue and white checked shirt over a hooded sweatshirt. He was also wearing a baseball cap.

Police say no shots were fire and no one was injured.
