Yet another White House hopeful plans on visiting Nebraska.

On the heels of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's visit to Omaha on Sunday, presidential candidate Ralph Nader will come to the city.

A campaign spokesman said Nader will speak Friday evening at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha.

Nader is on the ballot in 45 states and the District of Columbia.

The consumer advocate is running as an independent.

He has run for president several times, including in 2004.

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama spoke in Omaha in February. In July, Republican presidential nominee John McCain came to Ashland for a fundraiser.

The false dichotomy of party choice in the US is the primary cause of the decline in this country. unfortunately there are too many voters who attempt to cast their vote for the "winner" which virtually eliminates the viability of most 3rd party candidates. Campaign renovation is the only way to take our democracy back from the corporate and special interest groups and get it back on the side of the people. i can't get to Omaha, but i hope that his speech is posted on the web!

Dispell the one-party 2 faction left-right paradigm, check out Infowars news stream, replays 24/7 great message Larry! I'm going to try to be there myself.. but if anyone else could videotape it and put it on youtube, that would be awesome!

If you are tired of paying taxes to offset corporate welfare, it would be wise to listen to Mr. Nader. If you are tired of the rhetoric, the negative sound bites, the spin to blur the truth, listen to Mr. Nader because he has the guts to tell you what is real. Beware, because you have to put aside the phony "hope" and "change" bs and be able to handle the truth. Something you do not get from the two major parties or the media. However, if you are ok with being "led," by those with the means to influence, to war via lies and millions without health care, the negative effects of nafta and wto, etc etc one of those other parties that have spoiled our republic is for you. You know, the ones that dictate who can "debate" in the presidential catch phrase shows. For me cute, polished, avoidence and half-truths do not allude to the confidence and leadership traits necessary to actually lead a "democracy" founded on the principle of "we the people."
