Six felony charges have been filed against 27-year-old Bruce Leazer who was arrested after a 4 1/2-hour standoff inside a downtown Syracuse pharmacy Tuesday.

Authorities say Leazer demanded drugs when he entered the Town & Country Pharmacy with a handgun Tuesday afternoon. Leazer allowed the five people in the store to leave safely.

Police surrounded the pharmacy, and the Syracuse man was arrested several hours later.

Special prosecutor Steve Mercure filed charges against Leazer Thursday afternoon, including robbery, making terroristic threats, false imprisonment and weapons charges.
