Lincoln physical therapist Jayne Snyder will run for a seat on the Lincoln City Council in the spring city election.

In a statement, Snyder said that providing transparency in government, economic opportunity and job creation, and restoring citizens’ trust in the City Council, will be her top priorities. “Moving Lincoln forward will require a bond of trust between the citizens and the council,” Snyder said. “We need to establish a plan together and create a budget that reflects our goal of working towards the future and providing economic opportunities for the City of Lincoln.”

Jayne Snyder grew up in Lincoln and owns and operates Snyder Physical Therapy.

Snyder received her undergraduate degree in physical education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, her M.A in Physical Therapy at Stanford University, Stanford, California, and her doctorate of physical therapy at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, Mesa, Arizona.

Jayne is a good business women on the board of interest groups her intentions are good but she doesn't have the people's best interest at heart if she joins camp and Sobvoda there want be any change cause shes like them in many ways. But good luck to all the candidates.

Jayne is by far the strongest candidate in the race. Shes got the common sense AND the resume to earn my vote.

While I wish her the best and commend her on her lofty goals and ideas, there will no changes as long as Sobvoda and Camp remain on the board. Both would rather die before stepping down.
