Lincoln police are looking for some local grinches who stole more than $1200 in Christmas lights.

Police say the theft happened at the 27th and Whispering Wind entrance to Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. Employees noticed the theft on the 28th and believe it happened within the last week.

Eight strands of commercial grade lights were torn from the trees that line the road. Police found broken bulbs along the street. Police have no suspects in the case.
