Miki Freese delivered the 1st State Swimming Championship in Lincoln Southwest history. Freese touched first in the Girls 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.67 seconds. She also medalled in the 50-yard freestyle, coming in second behind Emma O'Connell of Millard West.

Freese, just a sophomore, has already made her stamp at the State Swimming Meet and the LSW record books.
