Nebraska defensive lineman Zach Potter says coach Bo Pelini shouldn't take all the blame for the Cornhuskers' 35-point loss to Missouri last week.

Potter said Tuesday that Pelini apologized to the players for trying to get too cute with his defensive game plan.

But Potter said it was a good plan and that it's the players' fault that it wasn't executed in what turned out to be a 52-17 loss to the Tigers.
