Compton is a 4-star "Athlete" according to Rivals.com, and the third ranked player in the state of Missouri. The senior out of Bonne Terre headlines the Husker defensive recruits - slotted as a linebacker.

Nebraska lost it's top four linebackers last season to graduation, which mean Compton could potentially step in right away to see playing time.

During his junior season he 71 tackles and an interception while on defense, and over 1300 yards of total offense.
