Ben Cotton
6’6”, 217-pound Tight End

Ben Cotton is the son of new Nebraska offensive line coach Barney Cotton. The youngster was committed to play at Louisville until his father was hired by Bo Pelini. Playing at Ames High School, Cotton was rated as the #2 prospect in the state of Iowa. The 3-star prospect ranks as in the top 25 nationally at the tight end position. With a solid 6’6”, 217-pound frame, Cotton can be utilized in both the run and pass games. Cotton was pursued by a number of Big 12 and Big 10 schools, but made his final decision the day his father joined the Nebraska staff.
