David Grant
6’6”, 278-pound Offensive Lineman

David Grant is one of nine signees from the Lonestar State. Grant, from Killeen, Texas, is a 3-star offensive lineman. The 6’6”, 278-pounder was previously committed to a pair of Big 12 schools. He originally pledged to Oklahoma State, only to later switch to Iowa State. But with a late push from new Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini, Grant chose the Huskers. Grant’s talents are still a bit raw – he’s only been playing organized football for 3 years. However, his size and strength (335-pound bench press max.) show promise for Grant’s collegiate football future.
