David Jespersen joined KOLN/KGIN-TV in June of 2006 as weekend anchor/reporter after two years as the Grand Island Bureau Chief. Before coming to 10/11, David worked for two years as a photographer/reporter for NTV in both Grand Island and Kearney.
David was born in Omaha, and attended Roncalli High School. He continued his education at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, where he majored in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcasting.
He lives in Lincoln with his wife Raychel and their son Aidan Christopher, born in December of 2006. He enjoys playing golf and tennis. He loves the excitement of reporting, and the fact that it never gets dull because every day is a different story and there is always something new to learn.
