Born and raised in Falls City, Nebraska, Lance attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received his Broadcasting degree in 1987.
Lance has been a member of the 10/11 team since 2002. He fulfills a number of duties including Producer of "Lance's Journal" and Sports Anchor/Reporter.
Before coming to KOLN, Lance spent eight years working for his alma mater. He was at UNL in 1994 for the inception of HuskerVision. While at HuskerVision, he produced "psych-up" tapes for the football and basketball teams and was involved in everything from operating the sideline camera in Memorial Stadium to Husker Baseball team videographer.
Lance spent the early 90's as a sportscaster at both KNOP-TV in North Plattte and NTV in Kearney.
Lance began his TV career in production positions at KETV and KMTV in Omaha.
