Brandon joined the KOLN/KGIN weather team in March 2008 as the weekend evening meteorologist. Before 10/11, he worked at KRBC-TV in Abilene, TX for four and a half years. Brandon began as the weekend meteorologist there, but also spent time as the morning and chief meteorologist. While in the southern end of tornado alley, he forecast and reported about severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, flooding, and the occasional snowstorm. Brandon grew up in North Carolina and has been in love with the weather since he was about four years old. He received his degree in meteorology from North Carolina State University in May 2002. Brandon is a member of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association. When he's not forecasting the weather, he enjoys watching movies, college basketball and football, hockey, and NASCAR.
