Ken Siemek began working at KOLN/KGIN-TV in 1981 as a morning show producer. He was promoted to reporter/photographer in 1982, and to weekend weather anchor in 1983. In May 1986, Ken was named 6 and 10 weather anchor. He produces three evening weather segments, presents severe weather information to viewers and speaks to community groups about severe weather coverage.

Ken is a Nebraska native who grew up in Columbus. He attended Central Community College-Platte Campus and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He is a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. Ken has also earned the AMS Seal of Approval for television forecasting.

Ken enjoys all sports. He is an avid golfer, and also plays basketball and softball. He is married to former 10/11 news anchor Deb Collins. The couple has one son.
